Assistant Grower

(1 Opening)

We are looking to hire an Assistant Grower to immediately join our team at our Arlington, Virginia facility. This is a part-time, hourly position. This role would report directly to our Farm Manager. The ideal candidate is a responsible and punctual person, who is always looking for something to do while working. Fresh Impact is a fast-paced, demanding environment where attention to detail is key and the ideal candidate should have the ability to be on their feet for long periods of time. If you don’t have any growing experience, that’s not a problem for us as we will teach you everything you need to know. The right attitude, eagerness to learn, a passion for excellence and a willingness to grow with our company are all you need. Ideally, the hours worked will either be from 8AM-12 or 1PM Monday through Friday, or 8AM-4PM Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.

 

Responsibilities include:

• Harvesting

• Seeding

• Transplanting

• Pruning

• Cleaning/power washing

• Facilities Maintenance

• Nutrient Management

• Assisting the Farm Manager with other on-farm activities as needed

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds

All successful applicants will start in a six week probationary period to ensure it is a good fit for all parties involved.

 

Job Type: Part-time

• Pay: $20 per hour

  • Monday – Friday 8AM-12 or 1PM

  • Monday, Wednesday and Thursday 8AM-4PM.

Education:

• High school or equivalent
